Friday 20 March 2026 Eid Mubarak from Mildmay Today is Eid al-Fitr, a very special celebration for Muslims around the world. It marks the end of Ramadan, a month of fasting, reflection, and kindness. On this joyful day, families and friends come together to pray, share meals, give gifts, and offer additional support to those in need. We wish all those celebrating a happy and joyous Eid!

Wednesday 18 March 2026 British Sign Language Week at Mildmay This week is national Sign Language Week and we have been celebrating our #deafaware community with a variety of activities. Woodpecker 1 and Woodpecker 6 have been learning to fingerspell their own names, Owl 1 had a signed storytime and learned to sign along with 'The Snail and the Whale', Woodpecker R made a video about their BSL learning (see it on our Instagram account @mildmay.primary) and the whole of the upper school sang and signed the Alphabet Song in assembly.

Friday 27 February 2026 Goodbye, Mrs Whitehorn-Marasovic Today was Mrs. Whitehorn-Marasovic's last day with us at Mildmay. After being such a help to so many children as both LSA and Pastoral Support, she has decided to try her hand at supporting teenagers by moving to a Pastoral role at Moulsham High School.

Wednesday 5 November 2025 Children in Need/Non-Uniform Day On Children in Need Day (14th November), FOMPS will be taking voluntary donations of tombola prizes for the Christmas fete in exchange for a 'Where what you want!' Non-Uniform day. Parents can also donate to Children in need through their ParentPay account should they wish to do so.

Wednesday 5 November 2025 Anti Bullying Week - Odd Socks Day 2025 We'll be starting off Anti-bullying week by joining in with Odd Socks Day. This day sends an important message to pupils that they should be allowed to be themselves, free from bullying and helps us celebrate Anti-Bullying Week in a fun and positive way. Simply send your child to school in odd socks (the wackier the better) and we'll celebrate their individuality and importance.
